The Art Journals of Trish LaPointe

In April 2003, I flung my old sketchbook, full of tentative and half-visualized ideas, into the cupboard and started my first art journal. What’s the difference? A sketchbook is a place to make visual notes, to develop images that lead to other works of art, a place where ideas pass through. An art journal is a home for ideas and a final destination.
